DECISION MAKING FACTS
Somatotropin (aka Growth Factor, hGH, HGH, Growth Hormone, GH, Human Growth Hormone) is naturally produced by the anterior pituitary gland in the brain and declines with age, so it is a natural substance already in your body right this moment. HGH is known as the master hormone because it exerts effects over all other hormones in the body, including Testosterone, Estrogen, Progesterone and DHEA. Augmenting declining somatotropin levels by giving your body daily oral spray somatotropin, can create a more youthful hormone balance that results in dramatic improvements in your health. Somatotropin supplementation is a life-enhancement. Lives that were once shattered by fatigue, illness or the ravages of aging, now nourish with the help of somatotropin supplementation. Somatotropin from the pituitary works by stimulating protein production in all tissues of the body. This results in an increase in organ healing and regeneration, which is associated with increase resistance to illness and injury.
Elan GH1 by Elan, contains the same very popular Somatotropin (growth hormone) as Ever Young Nutritionals GH 2000 Anti-Aging Formula and Biotropin 2000, utilizing the same revolutionary vegetable based polymer matrix delivery system with a few modifications that enhances the product even better. Elan GH1 works on the anterior of the pituitary gland, where Atomic Fuel Plus works on the posterior of the pituitary gland. The Elan "Power Pack" is the ultimate in human growth hormone replacement and other immune fighting products.
The pituitary gland, located near the optical nerve at the bottom of the brain, plays the central role of hormonal system.Called the master gland, the pituitary secretes hormones that control the activity of other endocrine glands and regulate various biological processes. Its secretions include growth hormone (which stimulates cellular activity in bone, cartilage, and other structural tissue); thyroid stimulating hormone (which causes the thyroid to release metabolism-regulating hormones); antidiuretic hormone (which causes the kidney to excrete less water in the urine); and prolactin (which stimulates milk production and breast development in females). The pituitary gland is influenced both neurally and hormonally by the hypothalamus.
The pituitary gland is the size of a pea (one centimeter) and is located below the brain. The pituitary gland produces substances (hormones) that help control many processes of the body, such as:
• Growth.
• Blood pressure.
• Some aspects of pregnancy.
• Breast milk production.
• Sex organ functions in both women and men.
• Thyroid gland function.
• The conversion of food into energy (metabolism).
• Water balance in the body
The pituitary gland is made up of two parts that are developed differently and have different functions, which are the anterior lobe and the posterior lobe. The anterior lobe develops from endoderm and the posterior lobe develops from ectoderm. Hormone-secreting cells of the posterior lobe, which develops from ectoderm just like nerve cells, are also a kind of nerve cell. The nerve cell body exists in the hypothalamus, where posterior lobe hormones are produced. Axons descend and nerve endings border on blood capillaries. Posterior lobe hormones are produced at the hypothalamus, descending down the axons, and secreted internally into blood capillaries from nerve endings in posterior lobe of the pituitary gland. The only hormones that have a different producing place and secreting place are posterior lobe hormones. Anterior lobe hormones are produced at the anterior lobe of pituitary gland and are also secreted there.
Under the 1994 DSHEA guidelines, low dosage, orally taken GH can be purchased without a prescription. The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) was passed in 1994. It created a new food category for dietary supplements. Hormones, such as progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and oral GH, may be marketed and sold as dietary supplements. The hormones fall into the category of foods and not drugs when they are produced in a safe form such as tablet, cream or liquid. To remove a dietary supplement from the market, the FDA must prove that the product causes undue harm.
